Hello my name is Wade Goodwin I live in Chehalis, Wasington.

I started working on computers for Digital Equipment Corporation in 1977 as a field repair engineer. In 1996 I move to Oregon Medical labs as a VMS systems and network administrator. In 1997 I changed to Hynix Semiconductor in Eugene, or. In 2008 due to Hynix closing moved to Portlan Oregon working for Legacy Health as a AIX system administrator. In 2010 moved back to Eugene, Or and went to work for Alacrity Services (now Alacrity Solutions).

I worked at Hynix in Eugene, Or as a Sr. Systems Engineer II taking care of 150 Server computers running Windows, AIX, TRU64 Unix, HPUX, LINUX, and OpenVMS. Hynix closed Aug of 2008 so I took a job in  Portland at Legacy Health  working on large IBM AIX systems and HACMP clusters for 1 year and 3 months, then in Jan 2010 I am back in Eugene working for Alacrity Services LCC as a Senior System Engineer, VMware, Windows, SQL and Network. In my spare time (when not doing yard work) I like to go scuba diving or travel around in the tropics.

Mara my wife ran a home cleaning business but passed away June 25 2016 of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.

Weston (oldest son) is married, in the Army with his wife and three kids.

Nyssa (oldest daughter) is living in Northern New York with her husband and works and at a Semiconductor Fab.

Alexander (second youngest) also in the Army Special Forces as a helicopter Mechanic. His wife and three daughters and 2 sons live in Wasington not far from me

Andrew (Youngest son) is in the Air force at Travis Air force Base in Abilene, TX.
